The King Cole Tinsel revolution, bringing us such delights as a the tinsel hedgehog and unicorn patterns also bring us an actual caterpillar, that may or may not be hungry! This would make a fabulous gift or as a rainbow caterpillar doorstop to celebrate our lovely NHS. 

Do not be fooled, these caterpillars are more than just decorative, with patterns for a draught excluder and a doorstop! They are knitted in King Cole Tinsel Chunky yarn. Tinsel is a unique eyelash yarn made of Polyester and Lurex - making it glittery and gorgeous. You will also need King Cole Big Value Chunky for the head and feet. If you wanted to have some magic but without the fluffiness of tinsel yarn - you could try using King Cole Riot Chunky which is a bright, variegated yarn that would look great for the body. 

You will also need 4.5mm and 5mm straight needles, toy stuffing and some haberdashery for these projects.
